Jimmy Jacobs is a native Georgian who has been writing about the state’s hunting and fishing resources for more than 35 years. He was the editor of Georgia Sportsman Magazine for a quarter century and now is editor/publisher of On The Fly South web journal. Jimmy was inducted into the Georgia Outdoor Writers Association Hunting and Fishing Hall of Fame in 2014 and in 2017 into the Southern Fly Fishing Hall of Fame in Bryson City, North Carolina.
