PEACH STATE FACT FOR THE WEEK

Merry Christmas!

The third and final segment of the Georgia dove hunting season opens on December 19 statewide and runs through January 31, 2026. Far different from what was experienced back on opening day of the first segment back in September, you won't find crowds on the dove fields now.

Our late season dove hunts tend to be one the least used opportunities for getting into the fields for some shooting during the year. For a list of public dove fields managed by the Georgia Wildlife Resources Division, click here.
